The City of Anderson manages two parks for residents and visitors to enjoy the scenic outdoors.

AnderAnderson River Parkson River Park

At the 440 acre Anderson River Park you will find recreational facilities for softball/soccer, boating, fishing, tennis, softball, basketball, disc golf, bocce ball, pickleball, picnic areas, wildlife viewing, hiking and equestrian trails. Kids will love the Kiddieland play area and the River Splash Pad. Love to walk or hike? There are miles of trails through natural areas for walking, biking or horseback riding.

The park is home to the Veterans' Memorial Walk and community events such as Family Fun Fest and Mosquito Serenade, the North State's best summer concert series.

Volonte park is home to Anderson Little League and Anderson High School Baseball. You'll also find a skateboard park, playground area and a scenic wetland walking trail.
